I’ve always loved poetry and began writing poetry as a teenager. I had plans to continue writing and perhaps pursue publishing after college, but life (marriage, three children and a career in elementary education) kept me extremely busy.
Now, in retirement, I have made the time to get back to writing poetry. I’ve also studied watercolor painting, so that I can share (to the best of my limited ability) some of the scenes from nature that have inspired my writing or scenes that capture the emotion /mood of my poetry.
