About

Jutta Török is a Hungary-based illustrator and visual storyteller who creates whimsical, fresh artwork about the joys of everyday life.

The inspiration for her artworks comes from so many different places: colour palettes from movies, patterns from a handwoven rug… Sometimes even rhymes and songs can spark a new picture. She often fills her sketchbooks while travelling; historical architecture and botanical gardens are her favourite destinations.

She loves experimenting with hand-crafted materials, which mirror the hand drawn gestures of her pictures.

In her spare time, she works in her garden, goes treasure-hunting at local flea markets, and has picnics with her children (with ice cream, of course).
