About
I have been taking photographs since the age of nine and still have the Kodak Brownie 620 with its box and book, which I display when lecturing. I started to travel abroad at the age of 13 in 1957 across to France in a converted RAF Air sea rescue launch Dover to Calais in just 20 minutes. That gave me the travel bug and looking at the map of the world seeing what was shaded red marking the British Empire made me realize one lifetime wasn't enough.I had been in 28 Countries between Gibraltar and Turkey before L went to work in the Middle East and was then able to fund my continued travels to all of 5 Continents. Still travelling the World looking through a camera viewfinder 76 Countries and still counting.
