Born in Portsmouth, England, migrated to Australia in 1969. I served an five year apprenticeship as a Coppersmith, in the naval dockyard in Portsmouth, I never touched my trade again when I arrived in Australia.

From 1969 I did all sorts of labor work until in 1975 I joined the Australian foreign service in administration until I retired in 1998. I had the great fortune of being able to travel the world through work and saw so much of the world.

My hobbies include, keeping finches, my motorbike and of course photography, but my greatest pleasurein life is my wife and family
