The 3rd Annual 109 West bicycle tour traversed the western slope of Colorado from spectacular Telluride to tasty Palisade. The first day the 2015 group of cyclists encountered drizzles on a speedy ride to Montrose. From there, we rode into the beautiful mountain-bike town of Crested Butte, continued on to Buena Vista with a speedy downhill from the heights of Cottonwood Pass and conquered Independence Pass before a "rest day" in Aspen. The last two days of the week long tour, took us up & over McClure Pass and the Grand Mesa before our final meal together in Palisade, Colorado - famous for peaches!
