About the Book
AFTERLIFE explores America’s disposable society by bringing back to life the discards of our modern world in images and words. Using Scanography to digitize found objects and enhancing the textures and colors, they take on a new life as fine art photography. Each image explores the aesthetic qualities of trash and evokes a story of past use and the journey taken through our world.
It is a natural progression to collaborate with wordsmiths in extending the intellectual boundaries of the project by adding their unique stories to the objects. This is a work-in-progress version of the book - there are many more images and tales to come.
No trash was harmed in the production of this work.
