About the Book
I needed a planning diary to help run Nový Mlýn efficiently. We're a busy household with lots of visitors and volunteers and different activities around the year - this book is the result of our experience so far. With this kind of life, you really need a paper diary - an android app just wouldn't work for us.
As well as weekly chores, there is space for a meal planner, a box for your post-it note to write any shopping you need and a weekly to do list. I've also included two extra pages each week for scrapbooking recipes, drawings and useful information. Each month I print out a list of seasonal and longer term projects and stick it into the diary as a fold out leaf. It's good to always have this to hand.
We were lucky enough to be visited by the illustrator Eva Boilley - who created the apple tree illustration - if you flick through the pages of the diary you'll see it change with the seasons.
