About the Book
The juxtaposition of beauty is seen only in the human race. Every other species is created with the male as the ideal form of beauty; granted to him to woo and charm his mate. Every colorful bird you can think of shows beauty in the male form, while the females are neutral. They blend into the background, hiding their young as effectively as one can.
Humans are the exception. The dominance of beauty has been placed in the hand of the female, weilding her power over the opposite sex. Where the Winged Things Are takes the beauty found in male birds and gives their bright colors, beautiful feathers and eye-catching mating dances to human females. Women of power, intellect, creativity and above all, beauty represent twenty four unique and mostly exotic male birds.

I'm a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design working towards my bachelors and eventually my masters in photography. Photo has always been my love, and always will be. I love to see the beauty in everything, big or small. I grew up in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Lake Tahoe, which has been the most nurturing community and a perfect place to begin a photography lifestyle. I love what I do and I would never change it.
