About the Book
This is the English translation of Machito, a short novel about a teenage male prostitute in Panama City, Panama during the late 70's.
It centers on the struggle of Dr. Suarez, his therapist who, at the time, felt restrained by the views the scientific community had about sexual orientation.
Due to translation intricacies the title was changed to "Little Macho*."
The word "macho" is quite well understood in English, but the * identifies "Machito."
