The English aficionado Tristan Wood - author of two acclaimed books on the corrida, Dialogues With Death (2006) and How to Watch a Bullfight (2011) - has been photographing and writing about bullfighting since attending his first Spanish feria in 1968. This book, containing over 200 photographs - most published here for the first time - records the toreros, ganaderías and events that have most impressed Tristan since then and forms a personal history of tauromaquia over the last 50 years.
