Walking the ancient way through France and Spain to the great pilgrimage centre of Santiago de Compostella was one of the most rewarding things I have ever done in my life. It was a challenge on many levels but the sense of achievement on reaching the end is worth every difficult moment and low point. This is not my spirituality but it is a view of the route through sometimes exhausted eyes.
