    About the Ebook

Erma Mable Hill was born in Czar, Alberta, Canada the first child of her parents Willa Orpha and Eldon Charlton. Both Willa and Eldon had immigrated with their parents from the United States to homestead in southeastern Alberta, Canada. Two days before her birth, Canadian troops arrived in Europe to fight World War I. And prohibition began later that year when the province of Alberta voted to ban the import of liquor into the province.

That is where the story begins and this book shares in photographs the 100 years of her life since then.
