About the Book
Born and raised in Germany, Walter began taking pictures during the 1970s after seeing Ernst Haas’s In America. The book presents a selection of his work that exhibits a deep sense of visual play and a grasp of form and content. Walter shows atmospheric, graphic and sensory images that often raise questions. Looking at them, you might ask yourself, "I've never seen that before. What is this?", while others let you say, "Why have I never noticed the beauty of such ordinary things?" Although the content of the photographs is diverse, they all share the same vision – the love for the beauty of our world.
This book is a true collector's piece that will reward anyone who loves visual arts.

About the Creator
Roland Walter is an independent photographer based near Zurich in Switzerland. From the early age of twelve he was fascinated by capturing the beauty of the world. So he picked up his first camera and began taking photographs more than forty years ago. Roland loves exploring the world with his camera. "There are so many interesting things out there that are truly a joy to look at. I simply follow my intuition to take compelling images that reveal the beauty and intrinsic character of the subject. I enjoy sharing moments of everyday life that usually go unnoticed." Today, Roland's practice unfolds as an ongoing journey of discovery, alongside selected commissions in commercial, documentary, editorial, and portrait photography. His work is available as fine art prints through a series of collections.
