Brian Ahern, or Briz as most people call him, is best known for his work as a professional cartoonist. Briz's longest-running comic strip was "The Adventures of BUMPKIN BUZZ" [1991-2009], featuring an overalls and rubber boot-wearing fan of comic books as its title character. Briz had adapted that character's attire to real-life models in his various photography books with humorous result. He is also proficient as a Certified Hypnotist, as viewers saw in his YouTube channel brizycomics which spanned eight years, featuring no less than 500 videos, garnering over 2 million channel views. Briz is currently at work on a series of superhero web comics as well as a line of young adult novels about a teenage werewolf. Briz resides in Michigan, with his canine friend and companion Snapper Carr.
