About the Book
The concept: Challenge yourself to shoot a theme for an extended period of time. Three photos a week for a month. One photo per day for a month. One photo per week for a year.
Trevor Carpenter started the web site photochallenge.org and challenged photographers to join him in expanding their skill set by committing to a year of shooting their community. There were also monthly challenges that were completely different from each other. Trevor gets a special thank you for inspiring these photos.
This book is the result of my journey through the 2008 challenges. The first section of the book covers the 2008 Challenge: 52 photos documenting my community. The subsequent sections each document one of the monthly challenges. I hope you enjoy looking at these images as much as I enjoyed making them.
There are a total of 160 photographs in this book.
