    About the Ebook

River Arts Review: Voices from Northern Vermont, Volume 1, is the first published collection of poetry, written by River Arts poetry workshop participants from 2009-2013. The book contains 122 pages of poetry written by 14 local poet/writers/community members ages 20-80.

"This collection is a celebration of life, a seething, glowing little masterpiece for anyone to enjoy." - Bethany Dunbar, The Barton Chronicle

In 2009, River Arts began a series of workshops, readings and clinics in support of the myriad voices living in the community and surrounding areas. One of these programs - and the longest running - has been the River Arts Poetry Clinic. Founded by local poet/writer Julia Shipley, the Poetry Clinic has continued to thrive through the dedication of its participants. The group continues to meet at the River Arts Center located in Morrisville, Vermont, the first and third Tuesday of every month from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., and always welcomes new participants.

River Arts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the community through the arts. For more information, visit www.riverartsvt.org or call 888-1261 during business hours Monday - Friday, 10:00 - 2:00 p.m.
