About the Book
Born in 1914, Thad tells about growing up in rural Tennessee. He raised tobacco, slaughtered hogs, and moved to Murfreesboro from Flat Creek to get a better education. Self-taught, Thad wired the first houses to get electricity! He wired battleships for the war effort; joined in the RV craze with motor homes, and retired to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Thad tells the story with dry humor and excellent recollection from his 98 year old viewpoint, in 2012.
