About the Ebook
Eastern Utah is home to many parks including Arches, Capital Reef and Canyonlands National Parks and Dead Horse Point Utah State Park.
The weather of late October and early November can provide comfortable temperatures as well as the possibility of rain and snow. One year I was fortunate to witness heavy rain at Arches with accompanying water falls and an early winter storm the following year that decorated both Arches and Canyonlands with a blanket of snow. The low sun angle of late autumn provides great texture lighting as well as sunrise and sunset opportunities
The images were taken with 4x5 film view cameras and digital cameras using both conventional color and infrared photography.
