    Christopher Charles Clemes was born in Cape Town, South Africa and was educated at Stellenbosch University. Christopher has an international reputation as a professional guide and has fished extensively throughout the world. Whilst working with England's famed gunmakers he became inspired to combine the skills of these artisans with those of England's finest fly rod and reel makers to produce Chris Clemes fly rods and reels. Christopher has spent many years working with these master builders as chief designer to create an exclusive range of English made custom split cane and graphite fly rods, reels and accessories.
