Ian is a professional photographer and photographic and digital artist. Although well-travelled, he now works out of Durham in North East England having studied, trained and practiced extensively under some of the region’s prominent academics and award winning photographers. A bold, colourful and friendly character, Ian is constantly seeking to challenge his personal and creative boundaries… to seek out the alternative while never losing touch with the simple essentials. These qualities resonate in both his images and lifestyle. As a recreational musician and guitarist he is drawn to the energy and vitality of live music as a complementary creative art, and can often be found supporting local bands and national events alike.
