About the Book
a year spent in Gloversville...a book of photographs.
the discovery and documentation of a small upstate city with a bustling and specific history;
personal diary of a year's existence in this post-industrial town that still is in search of the future.
Most of the photographs were taken during an occasional exploratory walk, a ride in the local countryside, or on a meager errand. It is a journal in a true sense and also, hopefully, a documentation of traces of others lives on the fabric of a town; conveying a sense of place, a quality of light, of the spaces between.
