About the Creator
Jerome Hamlin
New York City
In 1986, I began a 40 year pursuit of the elusive coelacanth, the sensational creature that emerged from "extinction" back in 1938. In 1996, I established the first coelacanth website: Dinofish.com, which attracted millions of visitors. My book "Time Busters" documents the history of the coelacanth from 1938 to the present day, including an account of my encounters. My other book,"A Chronicle of Wasted Time," photo documents my search for the fish in the spectacular Western South Pacific.
