About the Creator
I started flying in 1985 at Liverpool University Air Squadron whilst studying for a Physics degree. I gained my ATPL at the BAeFC, Prestwick and spent the next four years in general aviation as a Flying Instructor, Examiner, C of A Test Pilot and Chief Pilot of a small air taxi company. In 1994 after several thousand hours of GA flying, I finally went over to the airlines and joined British Midland (bmi) on the 737-3/4/500 based at Heathrow. Here I became a line trainer and also taught performance, technical refreshers and various other groundschool subjects. In 2001 I joined easyJet where I did post-maintenance and customer demo test flights on the 737. I accumulated 18 years and over 10,000hrs on type and I am still learning about the aircraft!
