Simon Hsien-Chi Wan is a Taiwanese photographer based in Birmingham UK now. He specialises in music, travel, and editorial shoots.

He follows minimalism as well as realism and aims to create photographs reflect the metropolitan life and transcend the time.

As a freelance photographer, his relevant speciality in music and education reacting with independent, patient and open-minded attitude has provided extra thrust in his gig, travel and urban images. Natural light or alternative sources masked with bokeh effect can be found in many of his works.

Contemporary digital-led or conventional film-based cameras, and other creative mediums has enabled him to illustrate different aspects of the warmth inside individuals staying in the apathetic society. However, he never feel conceited or stop exploring the unknown boundaries of photography.
