Dongsei Kim


About

Dongsei is a registered architect and urban designer. He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Architecture at Columbia University, and is currently teaching architecture studios at RMIT and Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He founded a research driven architecture and urbanism practice, axu studio in 2010. He holds a MDesS with distinction from Harvard University, MSAUD from Columbia University, and a B.Arch (Hons) from Victoria University of Wellington. He has won several awards and competitions including the first prize for the Grand Concourse International Competition in NYC. His work at CCM Architects in Wellington has been widely published and recognized with several NZIA national and regional awards. He has also taught at Carleton University in Canada, Kyunghee University in Korea, and Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. He is a registered architect with the NZRAB and Architect member of NZIA since 2007.
