Here Now, Gone Tomorrow High Tech Middle Media Arts Edition

For the last 100 years, we have made choices regarding energy consumption that have contributed to climate change. Now climate change is directly impacting our lives! There are over 40,000 endangered species, and climate change is a big reason why this is happening. As young scientists and researchers, the sixth-grade class at High Tech Middle Media Arts created this book to bring awareness to climate change and how it is threatening the existence of many of our most loved animals. The students researched endangered species to help find contributing factors to their endangerment and created watercolor images to honor the animals and to help make the public aware of the animal's plights. We hope that we can continue to work together to prevent these species from going extinct. Some are on the brink of extinction, and we need to consider how we live our daily lives. We are so proud of our students for their hard work commitment and dedication to helping save our environment and wildlife.
