The magazine is a platform for promoting Icelandic football to fans of the beautiful game, around Europe and beyond, to visit the spectacular country of Iceland and take in a few matches or visit some of the most tranquil grounds on the planet. I venture deep into North Iceland to visit some of the lower league clubs in the country and find out about the hardships of playing football in these remote, isolated, communities and how they plan to revolutionize the game. Next summer, I will finish this four year project when I visit the Eastern based clubs. I hope the stories and photography inspire you to visit the "Land of the Midnight Sun."

In this year's edition there are profiles and reviews on Fram Reykjavik, Breidablik, KA Akureyri, IA Akranes, Kari and Vestri. Interviews with past and present players including Iceland National Team Manager Heimir Hallgrimsson, the voice of Reykjavik radio Heimir Karlsson, Ex-Anderlecht and Bordeaux legend Arnor Gudjohnsen as well as a broad range of in depth topics and articles about the Icelandic game. Iceland defender Kari Arnason, who has made over 60 appearances for his country, also speaks about life at Scottish club Aberdeen and his plans for the future. Plus, there are over 90 carefully selected photos included in this 72 page magazine.
