About the Book
Libertatia 2008 is a collection of documentary photographs on a contemporary American subculture. These photographs were taken at an annual event hosted by the Pyrate Punx; a non-profit organization focusing on the non-mainstream music scene.
Off the beaten path high above Clear Lake, California over a hundred people from a variety of states spent the weekend together. With the help of generators and a wooden palette stage, live music plays from morning to night.
