In Loving Memory of Larry Travis was created to commemorate the teachings and wisdom of our favorite teacher at The Art Institute of Dallas: Larry Travis. With a combination of student work and personal entries written by each student about (or to) him–we shall never forget his greatness, for he is in a better place. In order to mend this gap in my heart, I wanted to do something that all of us students could gain a sense of closure from. A physical copy will forever belong in the photography studio at The Art Institute of Dallas and his legend shall be passed on to the future generations who will not get the opportunity to know Larry Travis.
