This photo-book has been put together by a handful of photography students at the university of the creative arts in Rochester (UK) In association with a larger program called ReCreate which works to encourage creative enterprise and art to emerge in more deprived towns and cities throughout the UK and France. This book shows the reaction of five British photographers to one of these areas; the city of Lens in France. previously a mining community and heavily hit by the first world war, Lens is a place where change needs to happen to ensure it's future can be secured.
