I just completed my Bachelor's in Biology at Grand Valley State University and will be finishing my Bachelor's in Nursing in August. I have always had a passion for the outdoors and was excited to write this book as a project for the Honor's College. It combines my love for the outdoors and my interest in plants and animals with my artwork. It was great to be able to incorporate all these things into one project, and I hope that the GVSU community will enjoy the book as much as I have. While I am sad to be leaving Grand Valley soon, I look forward to having even more time to dedicate to backpacking, kayaking, and spending time in nature.
