My daughter, Jessica, and I went to London and Edinburgh in the fall of 2011. London was not only beautiful; the history and historical sites were overwhelming. Stonehenge was intriguing, Bath was awash in flowers and gardens and had great shopping; and, Salisbury and it's cathedral were awe-inspiring. The train ride to Edinburgh gave us an overall sense of England and Edinburgh and it's castle was one of the highlights of our trip. Our photos are amateur but I hope they convey the greatness of the UK and what a wonderful place it is to visit.
