About the Book
As a regular annual visitor to the Isle of Lewis over the past 25 years or so I've long pondered whether, on retiring from formal employment, I could make a go of living there myself. The images in this book are a collection of observations about life and of those already living in the Lewis landscape. It was a form of visual note-taking for those times, back at home in Lancashire, when I might muse the prospect of making the Isle of Lewis my final 'forever' home.
