Hilmar, California
About

Even though her maiden name was Faulkner, it took several years for Kelli to figure out she was a writer. Born in Southern Idaho and raised in Northern California, Kelli grew up with a fascination for psychology and a desire to understand why people do what they do.

In 2009, during the economic crisis, Kelli started a daily writing ritual for documenting gratitude. The "Counted Blessings" blog not only kick-started her desire for writing, but it also helped her cope through the transition of new homes, new careers, and an empty nest. In 2013, the daily subject of Kelli's posts were letters to her (future) grandchildren. Those letters became the book, Hey Kid -Letters to My Grandchildren which is Kelli's first published work.

Kelli continues to write while also focusing on completing and publishing other work, previously written. She lives close to her children and grandchildren in Central California, with her husband, Leroy.
