About

Hugo Camacho was abandoned as a baby and raised by wolves in the Arctic tundra where he had to adapt to survive. He drew his first drawing on a cave wall with blood from his prey after a wild night of hunting. OK, that story is a bit exaggerated for the sake of this bio. Hugo was actually raised by normal parents in a normal family in a normal home. His imagination, however, was anything but normal. Heavily influenced by Mad Magazine, Mafalda, Calvin and Hobbes, Bloom County, super-hero comics, rock 'n' roll, and Star Wars, Hugo has created characters, stories, comic books, and even his own comic strip. Aside from doing some freelance illustration work on a part-time basis, Hugo spends the rest of his time writing and sketching ideas for his own graphic novel as well as working on his first children's book.
