About the Book
Features & Details
Elise Lindgren has always been a reader, always been a writer. She is a fan of animals, and most (Or all) of her stories involve animals. (Actually, most of her stories include dogs.) Lindgren is eleven years old and finds a way to involve dogs in everything. Her first book, Fox, has a way of sneaking a couple dogs into the pages. Lindgren is exuberant, and you’ll rarely see a sentence without two exclamation points!! Writing is her absolute favorite thing, and reading a close second. Most of her books involve “Dear Reader” cut ins, or “Author Interruptions” as she likes to call them. The most common thing in her books is still, of course, animals and dogs. She strives to write her best as she includes animals and her own thoughts into books for middle schoolers like her. Most of her books are for fifth to eighth graders, as that is who it entertains most. Lindgren apologizes for her frequent annoyance (That she causes,) author interruptions, and Lindgren always wishes you a happy day!
