“My goal, with what I came to call “the mural-portrait series", was to document the way the local people –– in their faces, relationships and how they dressed –– reflected the culture and history so compellingly depicted in the murals, and vice versa.”
American Roger Minick has been photographing the American experience for nearly half a century.
