About the Book
elementary-age students to use scriptures to overcome issues
they face in the coming week. The students encounter
challenges like loneliness, anger, guilt, false accusations,
timidity and selfishness. On the following Sunday, the students
share their struggles - and the victories they won - by using
the Bible. The kids utilize artwork, poetry and rap to tell their
stories. Miss Purtell’s Challenge is fun to read. Would you like to see kids have a tool of how they can overcome real-world challenges, apply the Word of God and win? Activities are included.
B.S. Organizational Leadership/awarded for Thesis on memorization/learning from Southern Nazarene University, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Teacher Two-Year Bible Teaching Certificate from Rhema Bible Training Center, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Associate Degree Liberal Arts - Special Education I have many years experience working with and observing children of all ages. At about age 12, I started working with kids, and I have been doing so my entire adult life. I have a passion to teach children the Word of God, and I believe it's crucial for kids to develop their own relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Children seem to gravitate towards me. I work well with children, and they receive from me as I teach, lead in worship and read to them. I am able to communicate well with them in a way they understand. The book I am submitting illustrates my passion for seeing children come to faith in Christ and live victoriously.
