About the Book
THIS BOOK tells the story of Tenisha's visit to Warleigh Weir on the River Avon, near bath, for a Risqué Fine Art photo shoot. On arrival, Tenisha quickly came up with her own ideas and suggestions – which led to us both scrambling up and down a steep river bank (several times), wading across the river (ditto), walking precariously along the top of a waterfall, clambering over a farm gate and walking along country paths overgrown with massive banks of stinging nettles…
But to be fair, it was only Tenisha who had to pose underneath the waterfall and get totally drenched! The beautiful images shown on these pages, however, are surely well worth all the effort that went into capturing them.
THE WORD RISQUÉ is defined, according to the world's most respectable dictionaries, as slightly shocking or rude; mildly indecent and verging on the improper. HOWEVER, it can also be taken to mean bold, adventurous, beautifully uninhibited and free! RISQUÉ FINE ART is the name of a creative photography project which seeks to capture the beauty of risqué rule-breaking – and thus, to celebrate wild, liberated, sensual and carefree moments in life. INITIATED IN 2018 under the working title "Go Wild!", this venture was conceived from the outset as one of creative collaboration – in which the theme, location, style and concept of any particular project depend heavily on the creative input, ideas and wishes of the participating model. THIS COLLABORATIVE ETHOS is reflected in the fact that the profits arising Risqué Fine Art are shared with creative participants on an equitable basis.
