    About the Book

    Edit

"How often I found where I should be going only by setting out for somewhere else."
    - R. Buckminster Fuller.

College sweethearts, Adam and Jenny moved to New York City to pursue careers on Wall Street. After living in the city that demands a constant pace for eight years, they decide to slow down and embark on a new journey: to travel the world for a year.

They quit their jobs, sell all their furniture, and buy one-way tickets to the unknown. They don't know what to expect, and all the planning could not prepare them for what lies ahead. But we do know that it will be an adventure; one that they hope will bring joy, even in the unexpected.

This memoir of journal entries and photographs is a reminder of the highs and lows that coexist when pursuing your dreams. Written from both Jenny and Adam's perspective, each brief entry is an insight into the emotions of traveling through foreign countries and personal growth.

Countries visited include: USA, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, India, Nepal, Maldives, United Arab Emirates and Greece.
