About the Book
Being undefined, the images are left to connect personally with the reader.
When I walk in Nature, there is an unnamed visual music that is ever present.
For me this symbolically expresses all the ways of life.
The book has a short autobiographically influenced introduction but, after that,
the images attempt to reflect this natural music. The story is whatever you
and your subconscious find as you turn the pages. Nature reflects all states.
The full spectrum with the dark and light. the thunder storm, the violent wind
and sea, the gentle and beautiful butterfly, the silence of the sunrise are
but the minutest fractions of this cosmic immensity.
Eric Morse was born in Malmesbury, Wilts and moved to Cornwall in 1978. Much of his working life involved being with people who had mental health problems or learning difficulties. He feels that this challenged his perception of life and his attempts at painting and illustration, more and more recognising that the classifications of individuals with language and reason failed to grasp the essence of being.
