The photographic tale of an art installation that took place in Felixstowe, Suffolk, UK.
Purplesnail an art group based in Suffolk, wanted to use art to highlight the threat to our coastline from rising sea-levels.
Three full-size beach huts were constructed and firmly attached to the beach at Felixstowe but not in the usual manner of seaside beach huts. These huts went down the beach and into the sea and suffered under the full strength of the in-coming and out-going tide.
As a member of purplesnail I took many photographs of the project and this is my pictorial record of the event.
