In the mid-1960's I was a newspaper photographer. After 10 years I put my cameras away and pursued other career opportunities. When my niece became interested in photography, I pulled out my old camera equipment and we made many road trips taking pictures along the way. In 1999 I bought my first digital camera and began shooting landscapes. While I resisted going totally digital, I have now embraced the medium. I look forward to retiring next year and having time to travel and shoot landscapes and points of interest to me along the highways.
