About the Book
The SKETCH Drawing Prize is the UK’s only award for artist sketchbooks, with a dedicated sketchbook exhibition. Forty two Sketchbooks were selected by a distinguished panel of selectors: Deanna Petheridge, artist, academic and author of ‘The Primacy of Drawing, Histories and Theories of Practice'; Sandy Sykes, artist and the curator and director of Rabley Drawing Centre, Meryl Ainslie. The shortlist includes established artists, relative newcomers and students fresh from art school.
