About the Book
The first book, On Discomfort, examines my 9 years at all boys prep school in Washington D.C. I experienced that discomfort can lead to mocking humor, and cruelty, which has fear and insecurity underneath it. In my life, discomfort has been an integral, generative and positive theme, and my switching majors to African-American Studies in college was a pivotal opening that led me towards personal transformation.
