My forest paintings depict the power and whimsy of trees and capture my intimacy and commitment to them as sentient beings to know and respect. I use vibrant colors to reflect my ability to see the energy of the trees, which I perceive as forms of light with auras, shadows, and animated spirits. My abstracts aim to express the greatest alchemy on Earth – the transformation of light into sugar through chlorophyll, which in turn supports all life.
