About the Book
“Becoming Bread” as a title for this book caused a surge of excitement as I recognized the power and potential of bread as an analogy for life. Our beginnings, in both life and spiritual journeying, requires kneading, rising in a warm, quiet, dark place, ‘punching down’ to rise again and again until the intended growth is achieved. To become nourishing and sustaining food, to become what it was meant to be ... bread must be broken and served to the hungry. How blessed I have been for the gift of the title for this, my final book.
