About the Book
Features & Details
Joanne McHugh is the mom-on-call, dispensing wit and wisdom for facing the minor struggles and the major challenges of young adulthood. McHugh feels badly that young people today face more pressure than ever to have it all—even though nobody explains exactly how to pull that off. She hopes "The Lazy Chef Cookbook" will mean people have one less adulting thing to worry about. In her forthcoming book, "Things Your Mother Should Have Told You," McHugh will share candid tales from her young adult life—including all the behind-the-scenes stuff most people edit out of their highlight reels—and throw in a few laughs in hopes of helping to reduce anxiety about adulting. Joanne lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with her husband of thirty-one years, a Labrador retriever, a couple of cats, and three grown children who are occasionally in residence.
