About the Book
Each year starting end of August Moscovites rush into apple orchards. Moscow is pretty green as megalopolises go. And, among other greenery, the city is surprisingly rich on apple trees. In some places the city had devoured a satellite village with its private or communal orchards. Some places have seen apple trees since anyone can remember. In other locations apple trees have only been planted recently for some non-agricultural reasons - each park and alley has its own story. What is common to all of them is free public access… and apples. This city's dwellers shall not skip on opportunity to pick for free some raw materials for future apple pies, jams, compotes and some stronger stuff
