One, Two, Three, Four large steps and he was on me with a clean fist to the side of the face. Immediately there was a white light, ringing in the ear and I could feel myself falling to the floor. It was all happening in slow motion. Once the white light subsided, I could see myself falling closer and closer to the floor. I tried to hold onto my daughter but I couldn’t, the jerk had thrown her out of my arms. Once I hit the floor she went rolling out of my arms.
